Join Us at 2026 NDU Delegate Assembly

On Saturday, April 18, 2026, this year’s North Dakota United Delegate Assembly will be held at the Radisson Hotel in downtown Bismarck. Every year’s Delegate Assembly is centrally important in charting the course for our union. This year will be no different, as our members are given the great opportunity and responsibility to share in the governance decisions of our statewide union of public employees and educators, meet and network with their colleagues and fellow NDU members from across the state, and choose our state's delegates to the NEA RA.

NDU Active in Together for School Meals Coalition

An ND United–backed bill to provide free breakfast and lunch to all K–12 students fell just short during the Legislature’s January 2026 special session, passing the House but narrowly failing in the Senate. With the legislation defeated, attention now shifts to the Together for School Meals coalition’s effort to place a similar constitutional measure on the November 2026 ballot, where voters could ultimately decide the future of universal school meals in North Dakota.

Leading with Courage and Pride in Community

In a time when authenticity can feel risky, Dr. Bridget Brooks of the University of North Dakota has chosen to lead with courage. Inspired by UND’s OUTlist, which publicly celebrates LGBTQ+ faculty and staff, Brooks and her wife, Jody, founded the UND LGBTQ+ Endowment to support the university’s Pride Center — the only one of its kind at a North Dakota higher education institution.
