Donate to UPAC

United PAC (UPAC) is North Dakota United’s political action committee (PAC). We use money that is voluntarily contributed to elect pro-public education & public service individuals at the state and local level.

About UPAC

Elected officials make decisions every day that affect our classrooms, jobs, students, and families. With constant attacks from elected officials on our professions and our funding, we can’t afford to sit on the sidelines. The most powerful tool our union has to protect public service and education is UPAC.

The UPAC supports candidates at every level of North Dakota politics. Whether it's helping elect a public education champion to a local school board, or helping send someone who understands public employee issues to the governor's office - UPAC is fighting to ensure that our state's decision-makers hear our voices and will stand with us as we fight to improve public schools and public services in North Dakota. 

Don’t Membership Dues Already Pay for This?

No. ND United does not use member dues to provide financial support to candidates running for elected office. Instead, we rely on voluntary contributions made to the UPAC to help elect pro-public education and public service candidates. 

About Your Contribution to UPAC

Contributions to UPAC are voluntary. Making a contribution is neither a condition of employment nor membership to ND United. Membership in the Association and members have the right to refuse to contribute without suffering any reprisal.  A member may contribute any amount, or may contribute nothing at all, without affecting his or her membership status, rights or benefits in NEA, ND United, AFT or any other affiliate. Contributions to these funds are not deductible for federal tax purposes.
