Amy Flicek

Professional Development Director

Amy was a teacher for 28 years before joining the Professional Development department in January 2019. She taught grades 1, 3, 4 and 6, in both Texas and North Dakota, throughout her career. Her degree in Elementary Education is from University of North Dakota and her Middle School Endorsement is from North Dakota State University. Amy previously served as association president, vice president, secretary, members’ rights advocate and negotiator for Mandan Education Association. In January 2020, she took over as Director of Professional Development for North Dakota United. Amy is married to Todd Flicek, and they have three children and one son-in-law.
