The purpose of the North Dakota United Foundation is to promote educational excellence and quality public service in North Dakota. The Foundation’s goal is to aid educators, public servants, and students in achieving greater educational success. It is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of individuals representing the NDU Executive Committee, NDU members, NDU-Retired, and the general public.
The responsibilities of a Foundation board member are to review and rate scholarship and grant applications, select recipients, and determine the award amounts. One in-person meeting of the NDU Foundation board is held in the spring to complete this important work.
This is an unpaid, voluntary position. In-person meeting expenses will be reimbursed.
There is currently one opening on the board for an active NDU member. Applications will close on June 1st.
Members of the Foundation board are appointed by the North Dakota United Board of Directors. Thank you for your interest in serving on the NDU Foundation Board!
