An NEA micro-credential is a competency-based recognition that is issued for professional learning experiences. They are designed to support educators in both the development of skills and the acquisition of knowledge. NEA micro-credentials are created and assessed by teachers and are focused on classroom practices that support student success. NEA micro-credentials are available to all educators, regardless of their membership status with NEA. The cost of the course is $50 for members and $100 for non-members and includes online support, reviewing of documents prior to submission and feedback. Credit is available through UND for $50. Participants will pay for the credit directly through UND, once final confirmation of successful completion is received.
