In our summer 2023 issue of United Voices, we feature the story of Risha Allen, a music teacher in Minot who has amassed a gigantic following of more than 200,000 on TikTok due to her joyful, uplifting and inspiring posts of songs that she and her students write together in the classroom. She shares with us her personal story of how she came to become an educator and some guidance she gives to teachers about how they too can shine a spotlight on some of the amazing moments that happen inside of our public schools!
