The North Dakota United Foundation annually awards thousands of dollars in scholarships and grants to eligible members of our association, including Student NDU and NDU-Retired members, as well as their dependents. In 2023, the NDU Foundation Board of Directors selected 40 worthy individuals to share in a total of $41,000 that was given out in 13 categories.
The 2022-23 North Dakota United Foundation Scholarship and Grant Awardees are as follows:
- Halstenson Family Music Scholarship – Jesslyn Hall, Christina Prince and Alisha Wohl
- Mary Cripps Special Education Scholarship – Lisa Dullum and Bonny Krogedal
- Bill Oban Special Education Scholarship – Abbigail Horner, Kelsey Kreidt, Lexi Meyer and Elizabeth Widmer
- Les Snavely Memorial Education Scholarship – Kaylee Obrigewitch
- Ron & Ann Anstrom Scholarship – Lauren Frankenbach and Kaitlin Walker
- North Dakota United Foundation Ethnic Minority Scholarship – Alex Azure, Rusty Dan and Hailey Enney
- Cindy & Gary Rath Education Scholarship – Brooklyn Bang, Hailey Enney, Asher Mitchell and Max Mueller
- Horace Mann ND Agents Graduate Education Scholarship – Hannah Gress, Courtney Houglum, Veronica Schwartzenberger and Kaitlin Walker
- North Dakota United Education Scholarship – Emily Curren, Kaden DeCoteau, Kadin Finders, Ella Holkesvig, Tylla Roshau, ChristiAnna Schmidt and Casia Steinhaus
- Joseph A. Westby Leadership Award – Hailey Enney, Paige Fettig, Seina Freidig and Lindsey Monson
- North Dakota United Workplace Innovation Grant – Sara Medalen, Amy Shobe, Leah Wheeling and Emily Wicktor
