Joel Crane

Press Secretary

Joel Crane is North Dakota United’s Press Secretary. He joined ND United in 2023 and leads the organization’s media relations and communications initiatives. Before ND United, he was a TV news reporter in Bismarck, where he covered politics, energy and agriculture.

Joel grew up in Bismarck and graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, where he studied philosophy and music. He also has a master’s degree in philosophy from New College of the Humanities in London. Joel lives with his girlfriend and their two cats in Bismarck.
