Karen Askerooth

NDU-Retired Director

Karen Askerooth was elected in 2020 to serve as President of NDU-R. She is retired from VCPS and from 43 years of teaching k-12 Vocal & Instrumental Music, Grade 2, Trollwood Peforming Art School Dean Of Students, Director and founder of “Totally Trollwood”, North High School Fargo, ND Musical Director and Spartacas Dance Line Coach, and Osseo High School Musical Director. She has taught in Texas, Minnesota, and North Dakota. Past President and Vice President of Fargo Education Association, Past President of Valley City Education Association, and Past NEA Board Director representing North Dakota for 6 years.
